Vaseline

NL: Zelf ben ik dol op vaseline en kan ik serious blij worden van een nieuwe pot vaseline. Waarom? Nou, onder andere omdat je het voor zoveel verschillende beauty doeleinden kan gebruiken. Een jaar geleden had ik bij Euroland drie potten vaseline gekocht voor 5 euro, nou ik heb ze erzo doorheen gejaagd.

Zelf smeer ik het bijna dagelijk op mijn lippen, wimpers en wenkbrauwen, het houdt ze in model en ze de haartjes worden er zachter van. In geval van bad-hair days smeer ik zelf een beetje in de punten van m'n haar om het zo in model te houden. Behalve dit zijn er nog ontelbare andere applicaties voor vaseline. Maar daar komt spoedig verandering aan want er word hard aan gewerkt, Dus hou deze site in de gaten want ben van plan spoedig leuke winacties te organiseren.

Yankee Candles

NL: Candles, candles, candles. Helemaal blij en relaxed word ik van kaarsen. Zeker na een lange dag is niets fijner dan een douche, een heerlijk diner en vervolgens wat kaarsen aan te steken. Mijn favorieten zijn de cinnamon (kaneel) geurkaarsen in alle soorten en maten. Uiteraard wilt het oog ook wat, de mooiste geurkaarsen komen dan ook in een mooie glazen potje. En als we over overheerlijke en mooie geurkaarsen praten dan hebben we het over de Yankee Candles! In Nederland helaas alleen nog maar op beperkte verkoopadressen te verkrijgen, Ik heb ze uitgezocht en hier voor jullie opgesomd.

Dus ben je ooit eens in de buurt van een van bovenstaande verkoopadressen bezoek dan de kaarsen afdeling in de winkel en trakteer jezelf op een Yankee Candle. Of bezoek en wesite en bekijk het uitgebreide assortiment. Hoewel de prijzen wat aan de prijzige kant zijn maken de lange branduren het toch wel een beetje goed, niet te vergeten de heerlijke geur!

Especially after a long day there is nothing better than a bath, a delicious dinner and  lighting up some candles. My all time favorites are the cinnamon scented candles (in all shapes and sizes). Of course lets not forget aesthetics. The most beautiful and most delicious scented candles are (in my opnion) Yankee Candles. Because when we talk about and beautiful delicious scented candles, we are talking about the Yankee Candles! In the Netherlands they are (unfortunately) only available at limited sales point. I did the research and  listed them here for you.

Oriflame

NL: Korte tijd geleden heb ik, op vakantie in Bulgarije, de producten van het merk Oriflame ondekt. Een van oorsprong Zweeds merk dat erg groot is daar (in midden- en oost Europa) maar hier in Nederland nog redelijk onbekend. Het is dan ook (nog) niet te verkrijgen in winkels in Nederland. Wel kun je hun producten online bestellen want ze hebben namelijk een online shop, ook voor Nederland! Hier is de link: http://nl.oriflame.com/?WT.mc_id=lp_v3.
Ik heb diverse producten van Oriflame aangeschaft in Bulgarije. Zo heb ik diverse roll- on deodorants gekocht en verschillende lippenbalsams met een heerlijk geurtje/smaakje, te zien in de foto's hieronder.
Het beige/gouden potje is Almond en het rode potje is Cherry.
Verpakking:Wat ik geweldig vind aan de Oriflame lippenbalsems is het chique uiterlijk, met de gouden details oogt het zeer luxe.
Inhoud: De lippenbalsems zelf ruiken hemels en zijn zeer zacht op de lippen. De Cherry lipbalm ruikt ook echt naar kers en is rood gekleurd, het laat geen opvallende rode achter op de lippen maar een heel licht rose laagje. De Almond ruikt heel zoet en dus niet echt naar amandelen maar meer naar amandelspijs. Desalniettemin wel erg lekker. De kleur is licht en dus laat geen kleurtje achter op de lippen.
Zelf vind ik het persoonlijk fijner als een lippenbalsem geen kleurtje achterlaat omdat ik ander bang ben dat het ook sporen achterlaat op me kleding.

A by origine Swedish brand which is big in the Middle-East and some parts of Europe, yet still unknown in the Netherlands. I bought several product of Oriflame such as roll-on deodorant and scented lipbalms wich smell/taste divine. One Cherry (the red/pink one) and one Almond lip balm (the softpink/golden one).
Packaging: What I like a lot about the Oriflame lip balms is the packaging (to begin with) cause thanks to the golden details and golden logo on top it looks very luxurious and expensive.
Contents: The lip balms smell delicious (and sweet) and have a very soft feel on the lips, non-greasy. The Cherry is red/pink of colour but when applied a the lips it doesn't really leave a colour on, just a very faint pink shade. The Almond lip balm is yellow/ transparent of colour so don't leave a colour on the lips just a nice gloss. As you would expect a moisturizing lip balm to do. My verdict: I love the Oriflame products and despite the fact that my experience with their products is not so vast I believe this is about to change. I will keep you updated on my Oriflame journey.
